Stahlwerk ARC 200 MD Arc Welder

The STAHLWERK ARC 200 MD arc welder impresses with its genuine 200 amps, single board and latest-generation IGBT technology. Thanks to its compact design with integrated single board, the device can be used flexibly without having to forego the advantages of IGBT technology – such as a high switching frequency, stable welding currents and high thermal stability. In combination with a WP-17V tig torch, the versatile inverter welding machine can be converted into a TIG welding machine with lift TIG. The MMA welding machine also features smart cooling and overheating protection.

Device functions & components

• MMA electrode welding / ARC welding – a universal welding process. An electric arc causes the electrode to melt, forming the weld seam. No shielding gas is required and it can therefore be used flexibly at any location.
• Can be expanded to a DC TIG welder with our optional WP-17V Universal Lift TIG Torch.
• IGBT Technology – Latest and most advanced transistor technology allows highest power and duty cycle at full power! No transformer, no MOSFET, state-of-the-art IGBT!
• Lightweight & compact design – only 3.2 kg weight and dimensions of 245 x 100 x 160 mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to old MOSFET technology. No more heavy carrying!
• Highest Efficiency & Power – Single phase AC power (230V) powers the device and allows an output power of real 200 Amps.
• IGBT single board – The Stahlwerk ARC 200 MD IGBT features an IGBT single board. Thanks to the compact design, welding units with a single board can be used very flexibly without sacrificing the advantages of IGBT technology (high switching frequency, stable welding currents, thermal stability).
