The powerful STAHLWERK Plasma Cutter CUT 100 Pilot IGBT plasma cutter with 2T/4T mode delivers a powerful 100 amps and features a precise high-frequency (HF) pilot ignition for first-class ignition behavior.

Depending on the material, the cutting performance is up to 44 mm (structural steel ST37 up to 44 mm, V2A or V4A up to 32 mm, aluminum up to 27 mm). In addition to common conductive metals, the plasma cutter is also suitable for painted sheets and flash rust.

The cutting current can be continuously adjusted from 20 to 100 amps. The compact device has smart cooling and overheating protection and is easy to transport at just 27.5 kg.

Device functions & components

• Plasma / CUT – Electricity is used to generate a plasma jet that melts the material, which is then removed with compressed air. This means that all conductive metals such as standard steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, titanium and much more can be cut precisely with ease.
• Cutting thickness – Separating cuts of up to 44 mm are possible, depending on the material. Structural steel ST37 up to 44 mm, V2A or V4A up to 32 mm, aluminum up to 27 mm.
• Pilot ignition – high frequency (HF) pilot ignition for first-class ignition behavior. No contact with the workpiece necessary! The pilot flame creates the arc. This burner can be operated with a spacer included in the scope of delivery.
• Cutting current – stepless adjustment from 20 to 100 A.
• Air flow – After the cutting process has ended, air flows in to cool the torch and reduce wear on the nozzle and electrode.
• 2T/4T – determines operating mode control and provides advanced control over current flow. In 2T mode, the high-frequency ignition (HF) remains active until the button on the torch is released. In 4T mode, the arc is ignited after pressing and releasing the button once. After pressing and releasing again, the ignition is stopped.

This connection is intended for direct reading of the cutting voltage from a torch height control. The arc voltage is measured during the cutting process and transmitted to the CNC control. This allows the CNC system to maintain the correct torch height regardless of variations in material or cutting surface flatness. In this way, a constant distance to the workpiece is guaranteed at all times.
